Welcome to Éire Etiquette — a new kind of presence for Ireland

For as long as I can remember, I have believed that the way we treat people — the way we make them feel when they walk into a room, sit at our table, or meet us for the first time — is one of the most powerful things we can offer the world. Not the rules. Not the protocols. The people.

Today, Éire Etiquette opens its doors. And I want to tell you why.

The Irish have always understood grace

There is something deeply rooted in the Irish character that the rest of the world has always quietly admired — a warmth, an ease with strangers, a hospitality that doesn’t need to announce itself. We have always known, instinctively, that the highest form of good manners is simply making the person in front of you feel genuinely welcome.

That instinct is the foundation of everything I teach. And yet, in a world that is more connected, more international, and more professionally demanding than ever before, knowing how to carry that instinct with you — into a boardroom in London, a business dinner in Dublin, a wedding breakfast in Kilkenny — requires more than good intentions. It requires knowledge. Practice. Confidence.

“The Irish have always understood that true hospitality is a form of grace. What I teach is simply how to carry that grace with you — into every room, at every table, on every occasion.”

What Éire Etiquette is — and what it is not

Éire Etiquette is not a finishing school. It is not a list of rules to memorise, or a set of standards designed to make you feel self-conscious about how you hold a fork.

It is, at its core, a coaching practice rooted in a single belief: that when you understand yourself — how you carry yourself, how you enter a room, how you make the people around you feel — everything else follows. The confidence to sit at any table. The ease to move through any social or professional situation. The freedom that comes from truly knowing what you are doing.

I work with individuals who want to feel more at ease in the world. I work with corporate teams who understand that professional presence is a competitive advantage. I work with brides and grooms preparing for the most public day of their lives. And I work with anyone who has stood in front of a wardrobe full of clothes and felt, somehow, that none of them were quite right.

Seven areas. One approach.

Éire Etiquette offers coaching across seven areas — dining etiquette, social etiquette, corporate training, wedding etiquette, afternoon tea, Éire Signature Programme and colour and style analysis. Each can be taken as a standalone session or combined into a tailored programme built around your goals.

But whatever the focus, the approach is always the same. Personal. Practical. Built entirely around you.

There are no wrong questions here. No judgement. The only thing I ask is that you come with an open mind — and perhaps a cup of tea.

A note on the name

I chose to name this practice Éire Etiquette deliberately. Not Irish Etiquette — not a translation, not a softening. Éire. Because I wanted this to feel like it belonged here. Rooted in this island, in this culture, in this particular and wonderful way we have of being with one another.

And yet reaching outward, always. Because the world we move in — professionally and personally — is an international one. And the standards I teach are not parochial ones. They are the standards that open doors anywhere in the world.

Irish warmth. International polish. Timeless presence.

That is what Éire Etiquette is here for. I am so glad you found us.
